1.1. Tourism
The High Tatras are suitable for all tourists, whether for families with children who can walk there or for active tourists or demanding ones who climb the Tatras peaks. Tatranska Lomnica is an important tourist centre, a starting point of many walks or all day mountain hikes in the High Tatras. There are a few tourist paths from Tatranska Lomnica leading to mountain chalets, lakes of peaks in the High Tatras.

1.2. Skiing centres
Directly in Tatranska Lomnica there is one of the best known and biggest skiing centres in Slovakia. This centre is only 400m far from Vila Bellis. There is the best known and the steepest ski slope from Lomnicke saddle. Skiing centre is equipped with the most modern cable-cars, artificial snow technology, but there are also very nice restaurants even babysitting services for the smallest children directly at Skalnate tarn.

Next well known centre in the High Tatras is located in Štrbske Pleso, where apart from skiing runs there are also ski runs for cross country skiing and excellent conditions for walking around the lake.

Winter skiing centre as well as summer centre is Bachledova valley, which in winters satisfies not only beginners but also more demanding skiers. There are also ski runs for cross-country skiing.

1.3. Aqua parky
The nearest aqua park is located in Poprad – it is AquaCity Poprad, which thanks to utilization of thermal springs offers the year round operation of outside swimming pools. People of all age categories find here relax and rest, there are 13 pools, water-slides, wellness and massages at their disposal.

Well known is also a thermal park Vrbov, which is about 20km far from Tatranska Lomnica. It offers to its visitors 10 pools with thermal mineral water and which has excellent curative effects. The park is open during all the year.
